The Marvel Cinematic Universe As It Stands

Marvel have just uploaded what’s basically a showreel of the greatest money making innovation in Hollywood – the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Enacted so far as Phases 1 & 2 (and with no sign of stopping there), these are collection of superhero films with each individual film not only being a fantastical tale, special effects blockbuster and box office smasher, but all films co-existing within the same fictional context, crossing over cast and inter-film references as well as sharing a mutual disregard for the structural integrity of New York. This not a world of just sequels anymore, not even a world of franchises. This is the age of miracles.
